Job Responsibilities
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Visually inspect the quality of the product
- Communicate effectively with Dispatch
- Provide superior customer service
- Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections
- Follow safety guidelines and meet OSHA standards *Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Ready-Mix Driver
Ready-Mix Driver
Primary responsibility is to drive a concrete mixer to work sites and discharge loads. This is in a variety of settings and conditions including uneven ground and may require unloading and attaching extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds to end of primary chute. A Ready-Mix Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ready-mix truck used for delivery of products connected to the Company’s ready-mix concrete operation.
Transport Driver
Primary responsibility is driving a tractor trailer combination vehicle in a variety of job sites and company property. A Transport Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of bulk cement powder, aggregate materials or admixtures materials depending on local business structure.
Aggregates Driver
Responsible for safely driving a tractor trailer combination vehicle in and around the city, state, job sites and company property; and for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of product.
Block Driver
Responsible for safely driving a tractor trailer combination vehicle in and around the city, state, job sites and Company property; and for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of product. This is in a variety of settings and conditions including uneven ground and may require intermittent use of a Moffit for safe delivery to customers. A block truck driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the block truck used for delivery of products connected to the Company’s block operation.
