HOUSTON - CEMEX USA announced Friday approximately 100,000 cubic yards of its ready-mix concrete will be used to supply two large distribution complexes in Northern California and the Central Valley, providing critical space in Sacramento and Fresno.
CEMEX delivered 70,000 cubic yards of ready-mix to complete a large e-commerce retailer facility in Sacramento. CEMEX ready-mix plants in the area supplied the complex which now serves as a distribution center for products ordered online. In Fresno, CEMEX is in the process of supplying 30,000 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete to a similar complex for Ulta Beauty, one of the nation’s largest retailers for cosmetics and beauty supplies. When it is completed later this year, the center will cover more than 670,000 square feet.
“CEMEX is well positioned to tackle these large projects across California with our expansive network,” said Eric Wittmann, CEMEX USA Regional President—West Region. “We are proud to contribute to the California economy and deliver the needed building materials to support commerce and e-commerce in the state.”
