Houston, Texas - September 25, 2020
CEMEX announced today it has earned 11 awards from the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA), recognizing the ongoing and longstanding commitments to environmental excellence and positive community relations at its aggregate operations.
NSSGA representatives presented CEMEX with the awards via video conference during the NSSGA’s Legislative & Policy Forum earlier this month in Washington, D.C. CEMEX aggregates operations earned nine NSSGA Environmental Excellence Awards, including one Gold Environmental Excellence Award for CEMEX’s Davenport Sand Mine in Davenport, FL. The NSSGA’s Environmental Excellence Awards provide national recognition for operations that actively demonstrate a commitment to the exemplary use of environmental controls and systems.
