CEMEX, Inc. today unveiled a new Web site dedicated to providing straight talk, not misinformation about the Soledad Canyon Project.

Users can access the Soledad Web site through a portal button on the lower right hand portion of the www.cemexusa.com site.

The new Soledad Web site was designed not only to provide the facts about the project, but also to reach out to the community with updates on the operations.

"This Web site allows us to keep the community informed about the progress of our operations with direct, factual information and transparency," said Gilberto Perez, President of CEMEX USA. "We feel very strongly about working in partnership with the community and feel this is an important step in sharing information. We look forward to beginning the project in 2008."

In the future, the Web site will post dates and times of the Community Advisory Committee meetings. This committee will communicate on a regular basis with the community, regulatory agencies, and other interested parties about the operation of the mine. The committee will consist of residents and/or business owners and public agencies in the vicinity of the project who will serve in rotating terms. The committee's meetings will be open to the public.

The Web site will also post details about the future operations' activities and include a community newsletter to residents.
