Monterrey, Mexico - December 17, 2019

CEMEX USA today announced that it delivered more than 40,000 cubic yards of ready-mix concrete to the Joint Venture team of Baker Concrete Construction and Liberty Conshor to construct the new 450-foot, Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, which recently opened in Hollywood, FL.

The $1.5 billion expansion project, developed by Seminole Gaming and built by Suffolk-Yates, features 638 luxury guest rooms and suites in the distinctive guitar structure, as well as the adjacent Oasis Tower with an additional 168 guest rooms and suites. The project broke ground in early 2017 and officially opened on Oct. 24, 2019.

The newly expanded resort will feature a variety of high-end amenities, including a private Bora Bora style cabana pool area which is part of a new 13.5-acre pool complex, a boutique retail promenade, a new spa, multiple new dining options, a new Hard Rock Live entertainment venue and more.
