The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association Recognizes CEMEX USA at Annual Convention 2013

Houston, Texas - March 18, 2013

CEMEX USA is pleased to announce that three of its employees received recognition from the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) at the NRMCA Annual Convention 2013 in San Antonio, TX. The association hosts the awards to honor achievement, success and quality in all spheres of the ready mixed concrete industry.

Frank Craddock, Executive Vice President, Commercial and Public Affairs, received the William B. Allen Award, which is given to individuals that demonstrate outstanding leadership and a commitment to high standards in business acumen. Craddock, who serves on the NRMCA Board and Executive Committee, has more than 34 years of experience in the ready mixed concrete, cement and aggregate industries.

James Mack, Director of Market Development, received the Promoter of the Year award for his superior performance as advocate of numerous concrete applications during his 23-year career, in addition to his recent accomplishments as the technical chair overseeing the pavement research at the MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub.

Barry Goodrich, from CEMEX USA’s ready mix plant in Fairfield, Calif., was named runner-up for the Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Driver of the Year Award. The recognition demonstrates Goodrich’s outstanding achievements in safety, professionalism, driving competency, and customer service skills.
