Innovation Award - Safety upgrades were implemented to reduce risks of working at heights
- Higher-than-industry standards are being implemented to manage contractors including
additional safety meetings and training

in the kilns

- Our Brooksville South Cement Plant provides well-paying jobs and good benefits to area residents as well as pays a significant amount of taxes to Hernando County to support schools, first responders and county initiatives.
- Up to 40 employees have advanced from entry-level jobs to supervisory positions at the plant
- Plant is developing NCCER Training program to develop employees. It is expected to be deployed by the end of 2019
- CEMEX helps transform our community, providing materials for homes, schools and infrastructure, including Oak Hill Hospital.
