Our Talent Development Program (TDP) is a 12 month rotational program designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow and support the future business growth of CEMEX. By combining important job assignments with a formal learning-by-doing approach, the Talent Development Program provides a foundation of knowledge and experience for a long, successful career in CEMEX.

The TDP Program is divided into four Talent Towers that represent each of our major lines of business: Cement, Ready-Mix, Aggregates and Corporate functions.

Cement
As a Cement TDP you will be immersed in an intensive 12 month program. The training will take place at one of our cement plants from Victorville, CA to Miami, FL. This program provides both classroom style and hands on training. You can expect to learn about the aspects of the production cycle of cement from start-to-finish.


Ready-Mix Concrete
As a Ready-Mix TDP, each day will be a little different than the last! You will be rotated through every aspect of the ready-mix business, from quality assurance to customer service and more. Your learning objectives and assignments will be evolving as you go. Most importantly, you will work alongside our incredible fleet of thousands of CDL licensed ready-mix drivers, who are integral to achieving excellence in our industry. By the end of your rotations, you will have a comprehensive understanding of how to be a leader in any segment of our ready-mix business.
Aggregates
Being an Aggregates TDP is a blast (literally)! You will undergo a rotational program designed to teach you each step of the aggregates business, beginning with extracting the aggregate from the ground, all the way to regenerating the environment back to its original state afterwards. Along the way, your learning objectives and assignments will provide you with an intimate understanding of the role that areas such as health and safety and maintenance play in the success of CEMEX’s aggregates business.


Corporate
As a Corporate TDP you will be based in our corporate headquarters located in Houston, Texas. We offer Corporate TDP tracks in strategic planning, logistics, HR and more! You will have the opportunity to take a deep dive into all aspects of your track, while working closely alongside several members of your department as you rotate through different assignments. Corporate TDPs are prepared for future leadership in CEMEX with excellent opportunities for networking and professional growth in their field.
Who We Are Looking For:
Education: Four-year college degree in related area (Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, etc.)
Good Academic Standing
Demonstrated capability of conducting hands on field work
Unlimited leadership potential
Willingness to relocate domestically
4 years or less post bachelor’s degree (experience in the related industry preferred)
