The CEMEX Lapis Sand plant is located in Marina, Monterey County, California on a site rich with biodiversity. We take pride in protecting the endangered species that are native to the property including the Menzies Wallflower, the Western Snowy Plover, the Coastal Dunes Milkvetch and the Smiths Blue Butterfly.

CEMEX also partners with the University of Santa Cruz and California Fish & Wildlife as well as other established programs to further enhance and protect our environment.
