Working with, Ashcroft Plant (Cumbria) Ltd, CEMEX provided and installed gabion stone and baskets to give essential embankment support structure with effective drainage properties.
Cockermouth in Cumbria had previously suffered severe flooding problems and the local authorities recognised the need to improve and reinforce existing flood protection. The gabion stone installation provided much needed flood control, a natural protection for natural streams, energy dissipation and river training.
Working with, RH Irving, CEMEX provided and installed gabion stone and baskets to give essential embankment support structure with effective drainage properties for a housing development project.
