Eligibility and Effective Dates of Coverage
You are eligible if you are a Full-time employee who has satisfied the waiting period:
- Salaried and Hourly non-bargaining employees are eligible on the first of the month following or coinciding with your date of hire.
Medical Insurance
CEMEX offers a variety of medical plans. Some are based on where you live.
- CDHP (Consumer Driven Health Plan) with HSA (Health Savings Account)
- EPO (Exclusive Provider Organization)
- PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
- HMO (Health Maintenance Organization)
Enroll online by accessing www.mycemexbenefits.com or calling the CEMEX HR Service Center (1-866- HRCEMEX, option 1).
Prescription Drug Coverage
If you enroll in one of the medical plans through Aetna or BCBS of TX, you get your prescription drug coverage through Caremark's Prescription Drug Program. If you enroll in Kaiser, your prescription drug coverage is offered through that provider.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
HSA is an individual tax-advantaged medical savings account available to employees who are enrolled in the Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP). An HSA allows you to deduct a specific amount of your pre-tax pay to be used to reimburse eligible health care expenses now and in the future – even during retirement. CEMEX makes contributions to your HSA account.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
FSAs are available through Connect Your Care (CYC) and can help reduce your taxes by deducting a specific amount on your pre-tax pay for health care and dependent care expenses.
Dental Insurance
CEMEX offers two choices, basic or comprehensive coverages through Aetna. Both plans allow in- and out-of-network services.
Vision Insurance
Vision coverage is offered through the Aetna Vision Preferred Plan. This plan allows you the flexibility to choose from in- or out-of-network providers.
TELADOC (Aetna and BlueCross members only)
Teladoc provides 24/7/365 access to U.S. Board Certified Doctors and Pediatricians by phone or online video.

If you are an Aetna or BCBS member you can also get individual screening and counseling services for tobacco use at a CVS minute clinic facility. Visit www.minuteclinic.com or find a clinic near you.
Annual Physical Exam
The CEMEX medical plan covers routine annual physical exams at 100% of eligible expenses.

CEMEX offers disease management through your medical provider to help you manage chronic conditions.
